Greg Keller, an Ogden native known for his distinctive wit and “talented hands,” will be remembered at a Celebration of Life on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Myers Mortuary in Roy. The event, open to those who knew him, will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary, located at 5865 S. 1900 W.
Born in Ogden on April 29, 1956, Keller spent his professional life painting walls and ceilings for Hadley Brothers Painting. Beyond his work, he cultivated a reputation as “a man of many talents,” leaving “a lasting mark on the people he loved, shaping their lives with his humor, grit, and hard-earned wisdom,” according to family. His memorable personality, often described as having a “mischievous yet smart attitude,” added a unique touch to social gatherings, particularly those held outdoors.
An enthusiastic outdoorsman, Keller pursued an adventurous life that regularly included fishing, hunting, and camping trips. His connection to the Northern Utah landscape was a significant part of his identity. In addition to his outdoor pursuits, he possessed a deep passion for working with his hands. This talent manifested in various hobbies, including collecting knives and engaging in projects involving leatherwork and woodworking. These creative endeavors showcased his meticulous nature and skill.
Keller’s family stood as his “greatest masterpiece,” a central focus of his life. He is survived by his son, Justin Keller, and his wife, Taryn. His daughter, Angie Parker, and her husband, Dale, also survive him. Further extending his surviving family are his sister, Sandra Wade, and her husband, Mick. Keller’s legacy continues through his grandchildren: Jaden Norager, Koltyn Keller, and Paisley Keller.
He was preceded in death by several beloved family members. His father, Wallace Keller, and his mother, Ellen Paris, passed before him. His ex-wife, Judy Keller, and his niece, Haylee Fine, also preceded him. Those who mourn his passing recall his life as a “journey full of laughter, creativity, and love.” His family noted that his legacy is one “filled with laughter, sarcasm, and wisdom,” serving as a true testament to his witty and talented personality.
Myers Mortuary of Roy is managing all services for Keller. The family and mortuary invite everyone who knew Greg to share their memories and photographs on his dedicated memorial page. These contributions are intended to “help keep his spirit alive in our hearts” and provide a space for collective remembrance of his “smart sarcasm” and the beautiful things his “talented hands” created.
